AMALIA Grinding LTD today employs more than 71 families in Cyprus. We all work together to ensure quality and preserve the traditions, in order to offer unique and tasty AMALIA products to our customers.

Production

For more than 70 years we have been investing in local production in Cyprus and supporting local AMALIA products. We have invested in upgrading our facilities, modernizing the production lines and developing our employees.

Every day, our employees contribute to the production of fresh and delicious AMALIA products. We all work together to ensure the quality and hygiene of our products. Throughout the production process, we follow the HACCP (TUV AUSTRIA) quality assurance and quality control systems to offer our customers high quality AMALIA products.

Distribution

AMALIA Grinding LTD has adopted a centrifugal distribution system, in which the distributors and salesmen begin their daily work from the central warehouse at the company's factory, in the industrial Aradippou area in Larnaca. The reason is that the distances between the cities and province are minimized, but also because the improvements made concerning the International Roads Network, help the above distribution system. Furthermore, sales and orders are received electronically via I.I.T. hand computers (Hand Held Terminals) which ensure a fast and equitable reception of sales and orders from customers in Cyprus.

The vehicle fleet which supply AMALIA products in Cyprus are consisted of vans that carry 6-7 tons to semi-vans that carry 2-3 tons. The vans are parked in the storage and transport area, within enclosed doors with an air conditioning system. In this way the company ensures that the merchandise is maintained fresh and the products are not degraded by high temperatures, especially during the Cypriot summer.

Almost all the vans daily transport Amalia's products to the whole of Cyprus to Nicosia, Limasol, Larnaca, Paphos and Famagusta (Paralimni and Ayia Napa) and the customer's that are supplied range from the smallest to the biggest markets. That is, supermarkets, wholesalers, mini-markets, fruit shops, Bakeries, confectioneries, hotels, restaurants, cafes, pubs, clubs etc.
